Art (Ages 5-7): Tuesdays 4:30pm-5:25pm

Art (Ages 8-11): Tuesdays 5:30pm - 6:25pm

Advanced Art (Ages 12+): Thursday 6:30pm-7:25pm

Cost: $65 per month

*Yearly $34 registration fee for new and inactive students

Art : We come together to bring art ALIVE each week. We thrive over learning the foundational elements of art (line, shape, form, texture, value, space, and color) and then extend our reach to bring more ideas to the table. Students will use a variety of media and techniques, such as drawing, painting, sculpting and collage. They will be encouraged to think through and explore their creativity!

Advanced Art: Students will learn the foundational elements of art such as line, shape, form, texture, value, space, and color through engaging and unique techniques. Students will work collaboratively on projects and use variety of media such as drawing, sculpture, collage, and more.

Current and historical artists will be used as inspiration throughout the year.

Additionally, we offer Homeschool Art Immersion.

About our instructors

Donna Garner

Ms. Donna found her way to Encore, as a dance mom.
Her daughter Gray started as a student here when she was 3 years old.
Ms. Donna graduated from Campbell University with a Bachelors degree in Education and loves the Arts. As a kid growing up in a military family she spent most of her teen years traveling Europe and living in Italy.
She attended the Academy of Music and Arts outside of Aviano Air base where she studied piano and the fine arts.

In addition to teaching art, Ms. Donna also helps coordinate Birthday parties here at Encore in Cameron and manages her own little craft business. She loves being a part of our team!

Connor Gerney

Connor Gerney was born, raised, and homeschooled in Swift Creek, North Carolina. In addition to teaching Advanced Art, Connor is Encore's Acting Instructor. He currently works as a theatre instructor, set designer, combat choreographer, improviser, visual artist, and actor across the Southeast, from Raleigh to Atlanta! He is extremely excited to join the Encore family!
