Art Classes

Art I (Ages 5-7): Tuesdays 4:30pm-5:25pm

Art II (Ages 8-11): Tuesdays 5:30pm - 6:25pm

Art III (Ages 12+): Tuesdays 6:30pm-7:25pm
Cost: $65 per month
*Yearly $32 registration fee per student applies. Fee is waived yearly as long as the student stays enrolled in any class at CPAS.
Art I: This class begins with the basic skills such as cutting, drawing, learning the proper use of tools and various artistic media. It continues with the elements of art; line, shape, color, form, texture, and space. There will also be a small amount of art history as students complete projects inspired by classical and contemporary artists.
Art II & III : This class advances the basic skills from Art I including more complicated techniques and additional artistic media. It will cover the elements of art as well as the principles of design; balance, contrast, emphasis, movement, pattern, rhythm, and unity. There will be a small amount of art history as students complete projects inspired by classical and contemporary artists.
